This page explains, in plain language, what Vocal Master AI actually collects, why, and what it does with it. It describes the real behavior of this application — nothing here is aspirational.
What we collect
- Account data. Your email address and a password. Passwords are hashed with Argon2id and salted; we never store or can recover your plaintext password.
- Audio you upload. Lead vocals, backing vocals, instrumentals, and reference tracks you submit for processing. These are stored privately, tied to your account, and are not shared with other users.
- Rendered output. The masters, stems, and engineering reports our processing pipeline produces from your uploads.
- Billing and usage records. Your subscription tier, render/preview/compare counts per billing period, and Stripe identifiers needed to keep your entitlement in sync with your subscription.
- Session data. A single random, HttpOnly session cookie identifying your logged-in session. No third-party advertising or tracking cookies are set by this application.
- Operational logs. Each request is tagged with a correlation ID to help us diagnose a specific failure if you contact support. We do not run third-party analytics or ad-tracking scripts on this site.
Payment information
Checkout happens on Stripe's own hosted, PCI-compliant payment page. Vocal Master AI never receives, transmits, or stores your card number, CVC, or full payment details — Stripe handles that directly and tells us only what we need (your Stripe customer ID, subscription status, and event history) to activate and maintain your entitlement. See Stripe's own privacy policy for how they handle payment data.
How we use what we collect
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To run the audio processing you request and let you play back, compare, and download the results.
- To enforce the usage limits of your plan and correctly activate paid entitlements once Stripe confirms payment.
- To diagnose bugs and respond to support requests, using correlation IDs rather than guesswork.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share your uploaded audio, account email, or rendered output with any third party except the infrastructure providers strictly necessary to run the service (hosting, database, object storage, and Stripe for payment processing).
Audio ownership and voice-cloning boundary
You retain all rights to the audio you upload and to the masters we produce from it. Our reference-profile engine adapts production characteristics — EQ, compression, saturation, space, and pitch-correction behavior — inspired by named artists' recorded production style. It does not clone, synthesize, or reproduce any person's voice, likeness, or performance; your own vocal identity, timbre, accent, and phrasing are preserved throughout.
Data retention and deletion
We retain your account, uploaded audio, and render history for as long as your account is active, so you can reopen past projects. If you want your account and associated data deleted, contact support with the correlation ID of any relevant request and the email on your account, and we will process the deletion.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Reach out via the Support page and we will act on any valid request.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page.
